Artist Statement

I love creating large paintings. I often spend a couple of months of 10 hour days making one painting. But my mind is always full of possible paintings so I find it fun to make small series of square foot paintings when I finish a large piece, before beginning the next. I’ve always been attracted to a close up point of view, a perfect subject for a small treasure.
